In February 2008, Alberta Auditor General Fred Dunn travelled to Vietnam to meet his counterpart, Dr. Vuong Dinh Hue, and launch the twinning relationship. Other members of the Alberta office visited Hanoi in the spring of 2010 to assist graduate Fellows with implementing their strategy papers and to deliver a workshop.
