CCAF is governed by a Board of 12 to 16 Governors who have links to our member communities, knowledge of the issues we address, and influence with key public and private sector stakeholders.

In addition to serving on the Board, our Governors often play important roles in the activities of the Foundation. They join Board or Advisory Committees, represent the Foundation at public events, speak at conferences organized by CCAF, help develop or lead CCAF training courses in Canada and abroad, and write articles of interest for members.

Governors are elected by CCAF members at our Annual General Meeting (AGM). Board terms, which are set by the Board following the AGM, can be up to four years in duration.
