Antonine Campbell joins CCAF from OAG Canada
New Director, Parliamentary and International Programs
CCAF has welcomed Antonine Campbell as the Foundation's new Director, Parliamentary and International Programs.
Antonine was previously Principal, International Relations in the Office of the Auditor General of Canada (OAG). In that role, she managed the OAG's international activities, including its highly successful collaboration with CCAF on the International Legislative Audit Assistance Program. She also served as Director and then Principal, Parliamentary Relations at the OAG from 1989-2004. Antonine is a Chartered Accountant (1979) with twelve years performance and financial auditing experience at the OAG and in the private sector.
Antonine's CCAF responsibilities include the Foundation's international activities and its work with public accounts and other oversight committees, both in Canada and abroad.
“I am delighted that Antonine has agreed to join our staff in this senior role,” CCAF Chair Michael McLaughlin said. “She is taking on two highly important activities for our future - and she is highly qualified for them both.”
Antonine participated in an April 2008 mission to South Africa and Tanzania with CCAF Executive Director Michael Eastman and New Brunswick Auditor General Michael Ferguson.

Nouvelle directrice, Programmes parlementaires et internationaux
La CCAF-FCVI compte maintenant sur l'expertise de Mme Antonine Campbell qui agira à titre de nouvelle Directrice, Programmes parlementaires et internationaux.
Mme Campbell occupait précédemment le poste de directrice principale aux relations internationales au Bureau du vérificateur général du Canada (BVG). Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, elle était chargée de gérer les activités internationales du BVG, y compris la collaboration fructueuse avec le CCAF-FCVI relativement au Programme international d'aide à l'amélioration de la gouvernance et de la reddition de comptes destiné aux vérificateurs législatifs. Elle a également oeuvré à l'intérieur du service de liaison avec le Parlement du BVG de 1989 à 2004, d'abord comme directrice et ensuite comme directrice principale. Mme Campbell est comptable agréée depuis 1979 et elle possède douze ans d'expérience en vérification des finances et de la performance au sein du BVG et dans le secteur privé.
À la CCAF-FCVI, Mme Campbell aura comme responsabilités de veiller au déroulement des activités internationales de la Fondation et des tâches rattachées aux comités des comptes publics et autres comités de surveillance, tant au Canada qu'à l'étranger.
« Pour ma plus grande joie, Mme Campbell a accepté d'occuper ce rôle principal au sein de notre équipe » a dit M. Michael McLaughlin, président de la CCAF-FCVI. « Elle prendra en charge deux activités de grande importance pour notre avenir - et elle possède sans contredit les compétences nécessaires ».
Mme Campbell a participé en avril 2008 à une mission qui s'est déroulée en Afrique du Sud et en Tanzanie et à laquelle prenaient également part M. Michael Eastman, directeur général de la CCAF-FCVI et M. Michael Ferguson, vérificateur général du Nouveau-Brunswick.

Geoff Dubrow joins Ernst & Young
At the same time as it welcomes Antonine, CCAF is losing a valuable person to the private sector. Geoff Dubrow, who has put his considerable talents to work for CCAF for the past two and a half years, has accepted an offer of employment from Ernst & Young, effective at the end of October 2008.
Executive Director Michael Eastman thanked Geoff for his contributions to the Foundation. “As CCAF's Director of Capacity Development, Geoff has led two of our major initiatives - Public Performance Reporting and Public Accounts Committees - as well as a number of other projects including the Comptrollers' study,” Michael said.
“He has also been a source of solid advice to me on a wide range of issues. The quality of his work here was such that this new opportunity has opened up to him. We wish him luck - and hope to keep him involved in some capacity with our activities.”

Geoff Dubrow se joint à Ernst & Young
Ravie à l'idée d'accueillir Mme Campbell, la CCAF-FCVI doit toutefois dire au revoir à un employé hors pair, qui s'en va tenter sa chance dans le secteur privé. M. Geoff Dubrow, qui a mis ses nombreux talents au profit de la CCAF-FCVI au cours des deux dernières années, a accepté un poste chez Ernst & Young, où il entrera en fonction à la du mois d'octobre 2008.
M. Michael Eastman, directeur général de la CCAF-FCVI, a tenu à remercier M. Dubrow pour tout ce qu'il a apporté à la Fondation. « À titre de directeur du développement des capacités à la CCAF-FCVI, M. Dubrow a piloté deux de nos plus importantes initiatives - les rapports publics de performance et les comités des comptes publics - ainsi qu'un bon nombre d'autres projets dont l'Étude sur les pratiques des contrôleurs », a affirmé M. Eastman.
