RESEARCH & CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT

Research is the cornerstone of CCAF activity, the essential core around which all else revolves. It is the means through which we have stayed on the leading edge of thinking in governance, performance and accountability.

Results of the research program are documented in study reports and publications, and video and other materials, incorporated into professional and capacity development programs and materials, built into conference programs and made available to members.

Our research products have been generic and have also targeted health, education and municipal sectors, as well as different stakeholders in those organizations – members of governing bodies, executive management and assurance providers.

Our capacity development activities are seen as an extension of research and is a means of disseminating and transferring knowledge emanating from research, and building capacity to use that knowledge and thought leadership to carry out our mission.
